GREEN We all know the power of vegetables, especially the green ones, so we decided to add a few powerhouse ingredients to our probiotic-rich kraut recipe to really boost the nutrition. Gotu kola, spirulina and chlorella have all recently come into the health food spotlight for a reason! These green goodies are highly concentrated with nutritional goodness, just as nature intended, and a little addition of Green Superkraut to your meal will really take the nourishment up a notch. Gotu Kola Originating in the wetlands of South East Asia, this plant is a highly valued herbal medicine in Ayurvedic and Chinese herbal practices. Packed with vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients, Gotu kola has been praised for its memory-enhancing, antioxidant, and neuro-protecting activities. Known as super sea minerals, ORMUS are a collection of naturally occurring elements that are locked inside sea plants and are packed with minerals we can’t get from land-grown produce, which is highly affected by the soil quality.
